His Highness Sayyid Asaad arrives in Algeria

Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty arrived in Algiers today to chair the Sultanate’s delegation to the 31st Arab Summit, to be held in the Algerian capital on November 1st and 2nd.

His Highness Sayyid Asaad and his accompanying delegation were received at the airport by Ayman Abdel Rahman, Prime Minister of Algeria.

They were also received by Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of the Arab League; Saif Nasir Al Badai, Ambassador of Oman to Algeria and a number of Algerian officials.

During the summit, His Highness will be accompanied by an official delegation comprising Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr Abdullah Mohammed Al Sa’eedi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, Dr Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of the Economy; Sheikh Khalifa Al Harthy, Diplomatic Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry, Abdullah Nassir Al Rahbi, Ambassador of Oman to Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League; Saif Nasir Al Badai, Ambassador of Oman to Algeria and two advisors from the Office of His Highness Sayyid Asaad.
