His Majesty and Egyptian President hold fraternal meeting

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, held a fraternal meeting at Al Alam Palace this morning.

During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the solid historical bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to strengthen them at all levels and elevate them to new horizons of joint cooperation to serve the interests and meet the aspirations of their peoples, in light of the brotherly ties and close affection between the two leaderships and the two brotherly peoples.

From the Omani side, the meeting was attended by: His Excellency General Sultan bin Muhammad Al N’umani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi, Minister of Finance (Head of the Mission of Honour); Sayyid Dr Sultan bin Yarub Al Busaidi, Adviser in the Private Office and Abdullah bin Nasser Al Rahbi, Oman’s ambassador to Egypt and its permanent representative to the League of Arab States.

On the Egyptian side, the meeting was attended by: Sameh Hassan Shoukry, Foreign Minister; Dr Hala El Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development; Major General Abbas Kamel, Chief of the Intelligence Service, Ambassador Khaled Radi, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Sultanate of Oman, and Ambassador Bassem Radi, official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic.
