His Majesty and King of Jordan exchange decorations

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan today exchanged honorary orders on the occasion of His Majesty the Sultan’s current state visit to the Kingdom.

His Majesty the Sultan presented King Abdullah II with the Order of Al Said, which is the highest Omani medal. The conferment of this Order reflects His Majesty's pride in the depth of relations between Oman and Jordan and the strong ties of fraternity binding the peoples of the two countries.

King Abdullah presented His Majesty with the Order of al-Hussein bin Ali, the highest Jordanian medal. The award demonstrates pride in the deep-rooted and long-standing relations binding the two countries and the high level of affinity between the Omani and Jordanian peoples.
