His Majesty leaves for the Kingdom of Bahrain
In the divine care of the Almighty Allah, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik left Muscat today for the Kingdom of Bahrain on an official two-day visit during which he will meet King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
The visit, made in response to an invitation by the King of Bahrain, will foster aspects of existing cooperation between the two countries in different spheres.
His Majesty the Sultan was seen off at the Royal Airport by His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers; His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan; His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth; Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council; Nasr bin Hamoud Al Kindi, Secretary General of the Royal Court Affairs; Dr Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibani, Minister of Education; Lieutenant General Hassan bin Mohsin Al Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs; Lieutenant General Said bin Ali Al Hilali, Head of the Internal Security Service; Dr Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health; Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF); Major.General Mattar bin Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO); Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO); Rear Admiral Saif bin Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) and Major General Musallam bin Mohammed bin Taman Jaaboub, Commander of the Sultan’s Special Force (SSF).
His Majesty the Sultan is accompanied during the visit by a high ranking official delegation comprising His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Interior Minister; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance and Sayyid Faisal bin Hareb Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
