His Majesty receives Indian Vice President

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received in New Delhi this evening Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Vice President of the Republic of India, as part of His Majesty's state visit to India.

During the meeting, cordial conversation was exchanged and possibilities for joint action between Oman and India were discussed.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs and  Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court.

From India it was attended by Mukesh Paradeshi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular and Overseas Indian  Affairs; Aseem Raja Mahajan, Joint Secretary for Gulf Affairs and Amit Narang, India's Ambassador to Oman.
