His Majesty the Sultan gives audience to FIFA President

His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik gave an audience in Doha, Qatar, today to Gianni Infantino, the President of FIFA, the international governing body of football.

The audience reviewed areas of cooperation and the means of promoting cooperation between the football authorities in the Sultanate of Oman and FIFA.

His Majesty the Sultan expressed his appreciation for FIFA's efforts to develop football globally.

Mr Infantino in turn expressed his utmost thanks and gratitude for His Majesty’s continuous support to Omani youth and to different sports that sharpen their athletic skills, particularly in football.
