His Majesty telephones Turkish President
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik made a telephone call this evening to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkey. He expressed his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to President Erdogan and the friendly people of Turkey over the recent destructive earthquake. He wished the injured a quick recovery.
In the conversation, His Majesty reaffirmed that Oman stands in commiseration with Turkey, hoping that the country will overcome the impact of this natural disaster. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to help the friendly people of Turkey overcome the crisis and to spare them all calamities.
President Erdogan expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to His Majesty for his kind initiative and noble humanitarian sentiments. He valued Oman’s solidarity with the Turkish people, praying to Allah the Almighty to protect His Majesty and the Omani people and to spare them all evils.
