Oman and Luxembourg sign tax agreement
The Sultanate of Oman and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg signed an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation on income and the prevention of tax evasion.
The agreement aims to provide legal protection for investors against double taxation and regulate taxation mechanisms, contributing to enhanced investments and trade exchanges between the two friendly countries.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Oman by Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Alharthy, Oman's non resident Ambassador to Luxembourg, and on behalf of Luxembourg by Finance Minister Gilles Roth.
The signing was followed by a discussion session where Mr Roth expressed his country's readiness to maximise the benefits of the agreement to boost economic cooperation between the two nations.
