Oman's Foreign Minister holds discussions with Tanzanian Foreign Minister

During a visit to Zanzibar, Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, today held a session of consultations and talks with Liberta Mulamula, Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania.

During the meeting, the two ministers reviewed the historical relations linking the two friendly countries and ways of developing bilateral cooperation, economic and investment partnerships as well as ways of enhancing cultural and scientific exchanges.

On the political level, the two sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest, affirming their support for dialogue and peaceful means in resolving issues and conflicts in order to stabilise and sustain international peace and security.

The talks session was attended by the delegation accompanying the Foreign Minister and a number of officials from the Tanzanian side.
