Minister meets Austrian Foreign Minister

Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, held a meeting with Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The Ministers expressed interest in developing partnerships in renewable energy, education and tourism contributing to the deepening of economic and scientific ties between the two friendly countries.

The discussions also covered the current international situation and efforts to achieve security and peace in the region and the world.

The Ministers emphasised the importance of international cooperation in addressing these challenges based on international law and the principle of justice for all.
