Minister meets Iranian Foreign Minister

Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, held a meeting in New York with Iranian Foreign Minister Dr Abbas Araghchi on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Ministers affirmed the strong relations and historical ties between the Sultanate and the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressing their commitment to continue developing cooperation and partnerships in various fields for their mutual benefit.

They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest, stressing the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing current challenges, and the importance of mutual cooperation in supporting efforts for peace in the region.
