Minister meets Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a meeting with Tanja Fajon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia, as part of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

During the meeting, Oman's Foreign Minister praised Slovenia’s honourable stance and its support for the just Palestinian cause, particularly its recognition of the State of Palestine. They also reviewed the relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the friendly Republic of Slovenia and discussed ways to enhance them in various fields, including economic, trade, and tourism cooperation.

Both Ministers emphasised the importance of maintaining regular political consultations between the two countries and coordinating positions in international forums on issues of mutual interest.

They also expressed their aspiration for continued communication and the exchange of official visits between the two countries, contributing to the development of cooperation and partnership.
