Minister meets Sudanese Foreign Minister

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a meeting with Hussein Awad Ali, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan, during the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Oman's Foreign Minister affirmed Oman's firm stance in calling for Sudanese unity, free from external interference, to achieve peace and stability in a way that ensures the prioritisation of the higher interests of the brotherly Sudanese people.

In this context, both Ministers stressed the importance of strengthening Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue to achieve aspirations for security & stability and to return the country to a path of economic and social development across all regions of this esteemed Arab nation.

The Sudanese Foreign Minister expressed his deep appreciation for Oman's role in supporting the stability of Sudan, praising the close relations between the two countries.
