Oman and Romania hold political talks
The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Romania held their fourth session of political consultations in the Romanian capital, Bucharest.
Oman's delegation was led by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, while Romania's was headed by Traian Hristea, Secretary of State for Global Affairs and Diplomatic Strategies.
They discussed relations in areas including trade, investment, education and information technology as well as the possibility of establishing a direct flight between Muscat and Bucharest.
They also exchanged views on various regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The session was attended by Florin Tacu, Romania's Ambassador to Oman, along with several officials from both countries.
In a separate meeting, the Political Undersecretary discussed aspects of cooperation between the two friendly countries with Dan Dragoș Drăgan, Romania's Energy Secretary.
