Oman at International Tourism Exchange Berlin 2025
The Sultanate of Oman concluded its participation in the International Tourism Exchange Berlin 2025 by signing a number of agreements and launching partnership programmes between the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and tourism authorities and institutions from various countries
The agreements aim to provide joint tourism packages and implement programs that contribute to the permanent tourist flow.
The tourism partners held a series of bilateral meetings and encounters with their counterparts from international companies to discuss mechanisms for implementing joint programs that contribute to attracting different global markets to Oman.
This can also empower the tourism sector with attractive incentives that present the Omani tourism product as an ideal option that meets aspirations.
The participating institutions reviewed their plans and programmes to support raising the level of tourist flow and providing the various tourist services ,programmes and facilities available to visitors.
They also explained the services and offers provided by hotels, resorts and integrated tourist complexes.
The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has plans this year to target presence in global events and activities to enhance its presence in global markets within the Ministry’s strategy to achieve the goals of “Oman 2040” vision, which focuses on diversifying the national economy and strengthening the tourism sector as one of the important economic activities.
The Ministry also aims to open new tourism representative offices in strategic markets such as China, Russia, Spain, Latin America, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.
The Ministry will connect with more than 80 international tourism companies to implement joint promotional campaigns targeting major markets.
It will launch promotional advertising campaigns in public transportation, shopping malls, and road signs, and implement more than 50 media campaigns in cooperation with the largest international media institutions.
Further more it will cooperate with international airlines and a number of Gulf airlines to organize joint promotional campaigns and organize more than 100 familiarization trips for representatives of tourism companies and the media.
