Oman condemns Israeli decisions targeting UNRWA’s mandate
The Foreign Ministry expresses Oman’s condemnation and firm rejection of Israeli decisions and attempts targeting the humanitarian efforts and mandate of United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in the occupied Palestinian territories.
While Oman values the vital role played by UNRWA in supporting more than two million Palestinian refugees, it warns of the severe consequences that could arise from any moves to undermine the agency’s work.
In an official statement, Oman renews its call for the international community to intervene immediately and urgently to protect the rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to self-determination.
