Oman denounces resumption of aggression by Israeli occupation forces against Gaza

The Sultanate of Oman has forcefully denounced the resumed aggression by Israeli occupation forces against the Gaza Strip.

In a Foreign Ministry statement, Oman condemns the genocidal policy pursued by Israel against the Palestinian people.

The statement reiterates Oman's appeal to the international community to meet its legal and moral responsibility to seek a ceasefire, protect the Palestinian people, provide for their humanitarian needs and hold Israel accountable for its violation of international law and international humanitarian law.

The statement also condemns Israel for its disregard for international resolutions calling for an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian and Arab lands and for Israel to withdraw to the 1967 borders, in order to achieve justice and a comprehensive and lasting peace.
