Oman offers condolences to UAE and Bahrain over death of soldiers in Somalia

The Foreign Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent the Sultanate of Oman’s sincere condolences and sympathy to the United Arab Emirates and to the Kingdom of Bahrain over the death of a number of members of the UAE Armed Forces and an officer from the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force while performing their duties in the Federal Republic of Somalia.

It also sent its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.

The official statement from the Foreign Ministry reiterated Oman’s condemnation of violence and terrorism in all its forms.
