Oman signs gas supply deal with Turkish company

Oman LNG has signed an agreement with the Turkish company Botaş, to supply it with about one million metric tons a year of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) over a period of 10 years starting from 2025.

The agreement builds on the existing cooperation between Oman LNG and Botaş and strengthens Oman's position as a reliable energy supplier.

Hamed Al Naamany, CEO of Oman LNG, said that the agreement supports the company's efforts to access global markets and support the national economy by facilitating Delivery Ex-Ship (DES) contracts for customers in both European and Asian markets.

He added that this agreement will enhance the reputation of Oman LNG as a reliable provider of liquefied natural gas and demonstrates its pioneering ability to manage efficiently its business operations to provide safe energy to customers worldwide.
