Oman welcomes positive discussions in Riyadh over Yemen

The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the positive talks that took place in the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh between representatives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a delegation from Sanaa, Yemen and an Omani delegation.

The discussions continued the efforts to find a peaceful solution to the crisis in Yemen.

In a Foreign Ministry statement issued today, Oman praised the constructive discussions, ideas and proposals which featured in the talks, adding that they contribute to reaching a comprehensive and lasting solution, in a way that meets the aspirations of all the Yemeni people.
