Oman welcomes decision of International Court of Justice regarding Israel

The Foreign Ministry has studied the decision of the International Court of Justice in The Hague regarding the genocide allegations directed against Israel. The decision mandates additional urgent measures for the immediate cessation of military operations in Rafah and allowing humanitarian aid and investigation committees into the Gaza Strip.

While expressing the Sultanate of Oman's welcome of the Court's decision in this regard, the Ministry calls on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to hold Israel accountable for its responsibilities under international law and to implement the International Court of Justice's decision for the immediate cessation of hostilities in the Palestinian territories.
