Omani business delegation visits Tunisia
A delegation of business executives from the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited the Republic of Tunisia to explore opportunities for cooperation, to enhance investment, and to boost trade between the two brotherly countries.
Dr Hilal bin Abdullah Alsanani, Oman's Ambassador to Tunisia, said that the Embassy is coordinating with relevant authorities to organise meetings with the Omani delegation, which includes 13 businesspeople from various sectors such as food industries, building materials, glass manufacturing, tourism investment in heritage sites, and the development of small and medium enterprises.
He added that the visit will showcase promising investment opportunities and discuss ways to strengthen trade for the mutual benefit of both nations.
The Ambassador noted that public-private partnerships are a cornerstone of sustainable development and economic growth. He said he hoped that the delegation's visit would help build strategic relationships, open new avenues for cooperation, encourage innovation and promote knowledge exchange and joint investments.
Ambassador Alsanani added that the relevant authorities in both countries are working to advance cooperation through the Omani-Tunisian Joint Committee and to follow up on its outcomes.
Their efforts are focused on providing the necessary facilities and regulations to create a conducive environment for businesspeople to capitalise on the opportunities available.
