Masoud established PhazeRo, a data science and AI consultancy, to ensure that Oman had capable tech talent. He considers this the prerequisite to unlocking a digital future. The startup has a dual message: accelerate the development of Oman’s local talent while delivering high-complexity, high-value solutions for the energy, telecoms and logistics sectors.

Masoud serves as an advisory board member of German University of Technology in Oman and Sultan Qaboos University. He is also co-founder and partner at Phaze Ventures, the first private venture capital firm in Oman, and was general partner at SparkLabs energy, accelerating the energy transition.
