Palestinian President honours head of Omani Mission

President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, awarded the Order of Merit and Distinction to Salim Bin Habib Alomairi, Acting head of  the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Palestine.

This occurred during a farewell reception for Salim Alomairi, held at the Presidential Headquarters in Ramallah, to mark the end of his tenure in Palestine.

President Abbas awarded the Order  in recognition of Salim Alomairi's  outstanding role in strengthening the brotherly and cooperative relations between Palestine and Oman. The  honour also acknowledges his efforts in supporting the Palestinian people and advocating for their just cause to achieve freedom and independence.
