Political Undersecretary holds meetings on sidelines of Arab Chinese Forum

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, met with Deng Li, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister, in the Chinese capital, Beijing, on the sidelines of the Arab-China Cooperation Forum.

During the meeting, they reviewed the relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance them in various fields. They also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.

Sheikh Khalifa appreciated China's stance on the war in Gaza and its historical support for the Palestinian cause, while the Chinese Vice Foreign Minister praised Oman's role in contributing to the peaceful resolution of regional issues.

Sheikh Khalifa also met with Dr Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they discussed the relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance them in various fields. They exchanged views on the developments in Gaza due to the Israeli aggression.

The meetings were attended by Nasser bin Mohammed Albusaidi, Oman's Ambassador to the China, and Ambassador Abdullah bin Nasser Al Rahbi, Oman's representative to the Arab League.
