Prime Minister of Belarus arrives in Muscat
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, arrived in Oman this evening on an official three-day visit.
Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi was at the forefront of those welcoming the Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation upon their arrival at the Royal Private Airport. The Foreign Minister warmly greeted the Prime Minister, wishing him a successful visit and a pleasant stay.
Also present to welcome the delegation were Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Albusaidi, Governor of Muscat; Dr Saud bin Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources (Head of the Honorary Mission); Hamoud bin Salem Al Tuwaie, Oman's Ambassador to Russia and non resident Ambassador to Belarus; and Sergei Terentiev, the non resident Ambassador of Belarus to Oman.
Following the welcome, the Foreign Minister accompanied the Prime Minister to the main hall, passing through a guard of honour from the Royal Oman Police.
The Prime Minister is accompanied on his visit by an official delegation, which includes the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Ambassador of Belarus to Oman, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food, the Deputy Minister of Industry and other officials from the Belarusian government.
