His Majesty sends Foreign Minister to Iran for official ceremony
Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, Sayyid Badr Hamad Albusaidi, Foreign Minister, left Muscat this morning for the Islamic Republic of Iran to represent the Sultanate at the swearing-in ceremony of the Iranian President-elect Ebrahim Raisi.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place in Tehran on Thursday.
The Foreign Minister is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Ibrahim Ahmed al-Ma’aini, Oman’s Ambassador to Iran, Khalid Hashil al-Muslahi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department, and Saud Ahmed al-Barwani, Head of the GCC Department.
Sayyid Badr was seen off by the Iranian Ambassador to the Sultanate and the Head of the Protocols Department of the Foreign Ministry.
