Foreign Minister talks with Jordanian Foreign Minister

A telephone call took place between Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi and Dr Ayman Al Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The Ministers discussed the human suffering and destruction in the Gaza Strip and the rest of the occupied territories, caused by the Israeli occupation forces and the continuing illegal bombing and targeting of civilians and children.

They agreed on the importance of the continuing efforts at the United Nations to make the voice of truth heard and encourage countries to vote for the draft resolution submitted by Jordan to the General Assembly on the need to protect civilians and respect legal and humanitarian obligations.

They also agreed on the importance of halting  the war and urgently delivering humanitarian relief, electricity and fuel to the residents of Gaza.
