Published On: 19 April 2023

The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Republic of Sudan is concerned to protect the safety of all Omani citizens present in the country.

Given the unstable security situation in the capital Khartoum and other cities, the Embassy is working on a plan to evacuate Omani citizens to the Sultanate in coordination with the Foreign Ministry in Muscat and the Sudanese authorities.

The Embassy advises Omani citizens in Sudan to stay in their homes at the present time.  It further advises all Omani citizens to avoid traveling to Sudan until the situation returns to calm and stability.
