Oman's Foreign Ministry expressed the Sultanate's denunciation of the assassination attempt that targeted the former Prime Minister of Pakistan.

In his cables to leaders of brotherly and friendly Arab and Islamic countries, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere sentiments along with his best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to them and their countries’ people wishing them further progress, prosperity and welfare.
Oman was represented by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, the Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs.
The meeting is discussing issues such as the Palestinian cause, economic cooperation and combating terrorism and Islamophobia.
