During the meeting, the ministers reviewed the implementation of decisions issued by the GCC’s Supreme Council aimed at strengthening joint Gulf action and redoubling efforts to translate Gulf ambitions and goals into reality.
The meeting, at the Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council in Riyadh, stressed the importance of enhancing the mechanism for joint action based on shared values, joint interests and existing cooperation in various areas.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America also participated in the meeting, which the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for Yemen attended as a guest.
The summit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, was attended by the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries; the President of the United States, Joe Biden; His Majesty King Abdallah II of Jordan; President Abdel Fattah el Sisi of Egypt and Mustafa al Kazemi, Prime Minister of Iraq.
The message relates to fraternal coordination and cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting reviewed reports on the implementation of the decisions of the GCC’s Supreme Council issued by the 42nd summit, strategic relations between the GCC countries of the GCC and the latest regional and international developments.
