Oman welcomes declaration on humanitarian principles by Sudanese forces

The Foreign Ministry has expressed the Sultanate's welcome for the signing in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, of a Declaration of Humanitarian Principles between representatives of Sudan’s Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces.

In a Foreign Ministry statement, Oman affirmed its full support for the unity, stability and security of Sudan, underscoring the need to continue dialogue between all parties to help achieve the Sudanese people’s aspirations for peace and stability.

Oman appreciated the essential role and positive efforts made by many regional and international parties to reach this agreement, notably the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America.
