Foreign Minister receives UN Special Envoy for Syria

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, received this evening (September 19th) Geir Pedersen, the UN Special Envoy for Syria, at the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations in New York.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on the efforts made to reach a consensual solution to the Syrian crisis that meets the legitimate aspirations of the Syrian people.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Dr Mohammed bin Awad Alhassan, Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations in New York and a number of UN and Omani officials.
