Sayyid Fahd receives Iranian Minister of Industry

His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs, received today Sayed Reza Fatemi Amin, Minister of Industry, Minerals and Trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran and head of the Iranian side in the Omani-Iranian Joint Economic Committee.

During the meeting, a comprehensive review of the existing bilateral relations between the two countries was discussed as well as ways to enhance joint cooperation in the economic field and to encourage investment and trade. The two sides urged the private sector to play its role in joint investments between the two countries in a way that enhances the interest of the two friendly peoples. as well as regional and international interests.

The Iranian Minister, expressed his satisfaction and the satisfaction of the delegation accompanying his visit. He praised Oman’s achievements both internally and externally, stressing his country’s appreciation for the balanced policy pursued by Sultanate in its international relations and the support and understanding between the two peoples. He also stressed the importance of the talks held with His Excellency the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and Omani officials in the Sultanate of Oman for their positive results in terms of supporting bilateral relations.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Qais bin Muhammad Al-Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and head of the Omani side in the Omani-Iranian Joint Economic Committee. It was also attended by Ali Najafi, the Iranian ambassador to Oman.
